Color Do Care

Color is a simple word which scientifically means component of light which is separated when it is reflected off from an object. As we know that colour plays important role in our lives. There are basic different color which symbolize different meanings. Studies have shown that people are able to distinguish approximately 10 million colors. These can be broken down into three primary colors : Yellow, Red & Blue.

Artists, interior designers have long believed that color can dramatically affect moods, feelings, & emotions.

The physiological mechanisms that underpin human color vision have understood for the best part of a century, but it is only in the last couple of decades that we have discovered for the non- visual effects of color. Similarly, it is published data that show that exposure to bright, short- wavelength light a couple of hours prior to normal bedtime can increase altertness & subsequently affect sleep quality.

Chromotherapy or color therapy is based on the premise that colors & light can be used to correct physical ailments. One of the first scientist to consider the effect of colors was August Pleasanton. In 1876 he published "The influence of blue ray of sunlight  & of the blue colour of the sky" in which he studied how blue can stimulate the growth of plants & cattle.  He also mentioned that this colour can help make the human body better. Color therapy should not be confused with light therapy.
